Cia. Oito Nova Dança is a dance company that was created by the brazilian choreographer Lu Favoreto in 2000. The company has a body approach that starts from 2 main techniques: Klauss Vianna metodology (important brazilian choreographer, teacher and researcher) and Marie Madeleine Béziers (french phisiotherapist). Currently, the group has been researching themes related to the issues from the brazilian indigenous universe. Chico Lima collaborates dancing in 2 pieces: Fandango a Céu Aberto (Open Sky Fandango) and Compêndio para Infância (Compendium for Childhood); in addition to take parte in other smaller projects.
